Job Title: Senior Quantitative Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team at Capstone Investment Advisors. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced mathematical models to analyze and manage risk in our investment portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex mathematical models to analyze and manage risk in our investment portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and patterns in financial markets.
  • Collaborate with our trading and risk management teams to ensure that our investment strategies are aligned with our risk management objectives.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to our investment teams to inform their decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in financial markets and regulatory requirements, and ensure that our models and algorithms are compliant with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a quantitative role, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with exotic equity products and scripted payoffs, as well as volatility models and Monte-Carlo simulations.
