We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale complex media projects globally for Christy Media Solutions, a software product manufacturer that collaborates with major broadcasters and media entertainment companies. As a key member of our Customer Success team, you will be responsible for driving project management and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for medium to large complex software projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead teams of engineers and develop detailed project plans and system specifications, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, attend customer meetings, and provide technical expertise to drive business growth.
- Manage project milestones, change control, and progress reporting, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Conduct technical configuration, UAT, training, and problem-solving, leveraging your expertise to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure successful project handovers and manage project-related defects, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Strong technical project management skills with a proven background in delivering large-scale software projects, preferably in the media and entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience with project management tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- High commercial awareness and effective time management, with a focus on delivering results-driven projects.
Desirable:
- Project management qualifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Experience with broadcast technology, including playout, multiviewers, and related systems.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, MAM, graphics, subtitling, XSLT, BXF, and XML, with a focus on media and entertainment applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux OS, as well as network-based systems, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Second language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and customers.
Working Arrangements:
- 2/3 days per week in our Cambridge-based office, with opportunities for remote work and flexible scheduling.
- Up to 30-40% travel globally, with a focus on customer-facing activities and project delivery.
