VAT Manager - Real Estate Sector

Location: Hybrid
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Up to 20% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are looking for a knowledgeable VAT Manager to support a dynamic Private Equity backed Real Estate organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing all VAT compliance and advisory functions across the organization, collaborating closely with the tax leadership.

Your responsibilities will include managing the complete VAT return process, enhancing VAT efficiency, and ensuring comprehensive compliance within their operational frameworks.

Furthermore, you will provide VAT insights on intricate transactions and initiatives, particularly within the Real Estate domain.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee VAT compliance for a significant number of VAT registrations, including VAT groups
  • Manage VAT journals, reconciliations, and assist with the annual audit
  • Address VAT challenges in land and property dealings
  • Promote process enhancements and efficiencies within VAT operations
  • Assist the Tax Team with risk management, governance, and inquiries from tax authorities

  • CTA or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive VAT expertise, preferably in the Real Estate sector
  • Strong technical VAT knowledge and experience with ERP systems
  • Exceptional communication and analytical abilities
