Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our IPS Into Work team as an Employment Specialist. This role involves providing personalized employment support to individuals with a background in mental health and/or substance misuse, helping them achieve their employment goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
The Role
As an Employment Specialist, you will work closely with service users to understand their strengths, challenges, and aspirations. You will develop and implement tailored employment plans, providing guidance and support to help individuals overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one employment support to individuals, helping them to identify and pursue employment opportunities that align with their skills and interests.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including recovery practitioners, nurses, and community organizations, to promote and encourage referrals.
- Engage with employers to develop partnerships and promote the benefits of employing individuals with a background in mental health and/or substance misuse.

Our IPS Into Work service is an evidence-based employment support model that has been shown to be highly effective in helping individuals with a background in mental health and/or substance misuse achieve their employment goals.
