CULINARY SPECIALIST / JUNIOR CHEF DE PARTIE | £13.44 per hour
In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items to established standards. You will support the Kitchen Managers in overseeing and mentoring the Kitchen Assistants and will step in for the Kitchen Managers when they are unavailable, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently meeting guests' needs and proactively seeking ways to exceed their expectations Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen area and ensuring compliance with all company and legal standards Adhering to guidelines on inventory management, portion control, and minimizing food waste, taking necessary actions to uphold food Cost of Sales Assisting the Kitchen Managers with the development and execution of menus, procedures, and standards as required Participating in all mandatory training for legal compliance, personal growth, or the introduction of new menus and dishes Following food safety guidelines as outlined in the Food Safety ManualThe ideal candidate will possess a naturally helpful demeanor, enthusiasm, and excellent communication abilities.
WORKING HOURS
You will work straight shifts, contracted for 160 hours over a 4-week period on a flexible schedule. This means your working days and hours may vary weekly, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our facility operates year-round, your schedule will include weekends, public holidays, and holiday periods on a rotational basis.
