Job Description

Academic Mentor - Outstanding Secondary School

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Academic Mentor to join our team at an Outstanding Secondary School in Tower Hamlets. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who are struggling academically and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
  • Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across various subjects - dependant on your subject speciality
  • Support class teachers across different subjects and support students development academically

What You'll Need:

  • A 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
  • Ability to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
  • Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
  • Ability to work as a team player
