Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobility Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobility equipment, both in the workshop and at customers' homes, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Stairlift Installation and Removal

Install and remove straight and curved stairlifts with precision and care, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues to resolve equipment problems efficiently and effectively.

Customer Service and Support

Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Logistics and Administration

Make deliveries and collections around the designated area, maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

Teamwork and Adaptability

The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team, with a willingness to learn new skills and tackle new challenges.

Personal Qualities

A valid driving license and a willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting.
