Position Overview:

This role is based at a prominent international airport, focusing on high-quality welding and fabrication tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding on various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
  • Ensure exceptional workmanship across all assigned duties.
  • Complete maintenance documentation in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Assess and manage repair tasks effectively.
  • Handle the ordering and tracking of necessary spare parts.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations diligently.
  • Support the professional development of colleagues, including apprentices and trainees.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of tools and equipment relevant to welding tasks.
  • Prior experience in sheet metal work or tinsmithing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with component inspection and work pack compilation is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to obtain company-specific CRS and CAA welding approvals.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
  • All candidates must possess the right to work in the UK without restrictions.
