Job Title: Retail Operations Associate

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Retail Operations Associate to become a part of our team at Adamas Lux. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that the retail environment is well-maintained, organized, and welcoming, while delivering outstanding customer service. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing the overall shopping experience and upholding a high standard of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers on the sales floor, providing product knowledge, suggestions, and support as necessary.
  • Keep the sales area organized and visually appealing by ensuring that products are neatly arranged and adequately stocked.
  • Restock shelves and ensure that items are accurately labeled and tagged.
  • Help set up promotional displays and seasonal arrangements to capture customer interest and boost sales.
  • Address customer inquiries, manage returns and exchanges, and resolve any issues or concerns in line with store policies.
  • Monitor and report any product discrepancies, stock shortages, or issues with store presentation to management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe sales floor, promptly addressing any spills, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and organizing backroom items.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store objectives and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Engage in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new products, store policies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail or customer service is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical capability to lift and move merchandise as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • A positive demeanor, enthusiasm for retail, and a commitment to providing a high-quality shopping experience.
