Technical Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Shift Supervisor to join our team at Distinct Consultancy. As a Technical Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 people and ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production schedules to ensure product is produced to the correct specification and in line with customer requirements.
  • Assist the Quality Controller in their activities as directed by the Production Manager.
  • Complete basic quality control checks and detect quality concerns on products as they are produced.
  • Recommend machine or process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
  • Lead team meetings to discuss previous and next 24 hours production, labour distribution, and break cover.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including filters and granulators.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Blow Moulding Machines.
  • Supervising or assisting engineers.
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of items.
  • Running and fixing machines in previous positions.
