Physical Design Engineer Intern

Job Summary:

In this 12-month placement internship, you will work with our team to implement and document physical design tasks such as floor planning, placement optimization, clock tree synthesis, routing, EMIR, and physical verification. You will also collaborate with multiple teams across the company to achieve desired design goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and document physical design tasks
  • Develop and automate physical design flows
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to achieve design goals

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Coursework in Digital design and Logic synthesis
  • Scripting skills in Python, TCL, and Perl
  • Understanding of VLSI concepts in circuit design
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
