Job Title: Quality Systems Advisor

Gregory Distribution is seeking a Quality Systems Advisor to join our team. As a Quality Systems Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining effective documentation control, quality customer reports, and libraries for quality and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain effective documentation control, quality customer reports, and libraries for quality and health and safety.
  • Lead on highlighting due dates on departmental documentation, including risk assessments, company/site-specific procedures, calibration certificates, and forms.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits across group sites against an agreed schedule.
  • Travel to other sites across the UK with some overnight stays to carry out audits.
  • Champion and promote quality culture plans across our sites, developing this area to its full potential with the quality team.
  • Update the group quality non-conformance action log and support operational teams with action closure within set timescales.
  • Ensure full understanding of the company's quality policies and procedures to perform functions for the quality team.
  • Encourage and support root cause and continuous improvement approaches.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
  • Collate information for monthly/quarterly KPIs.
  • Track and monitor budget for the quality team.
  • Register third-party accreditation (BRC, ISO) and report with support of closure of any resulting actions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of conducting internal audits, ideally with BRC or ISO experience.
  • Additional qualifications such as food hygiene, HACCP, etc. are advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience.
  • Solution-driven and flexible approach to work.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • MS packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Additional qualifications such as food hygiene, HACCP, internal auditing, etc. are highly desirable.

  • Salary: £28,000pa - £32,000pa, depending on experience.
  • Contracted hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30hrs - 17:00hrs. (Flexibility will be required depending on location and audit timings.)
