Kobalt Music is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Central Royalty Tracking & Business Intelligence team.

We are driven by data and its power to shape our future growth. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing insights that inform strategic decisions and fuel revenue expansion.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom reports to uncover trends, behaviors, and anomalies within income streams.
  • Investigate and resolve income discrepancies and payment irregularities by collaborating with various departments.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards that showcase key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company.
  • Leverage external data sources to enhance our business intelligence capabilities.
  • Utilize Python or R for data extraction, analysis, and exploration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and address their business challenges.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
  • Knowledge of Python or R programming languages.
  • Understanding of fundamental data science concepts and techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services like AWS Athena & S3.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within the music industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • A solution-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail.
