Job Title: Adult Education Learning Content Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Digital Learning Experience Designer to join our team at the Financial Ombudsman Service. As a key member of our learning and development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging digital learning experiences for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues to design, develop, and deliver effective digital learning solutions for various internal audiences and platforms.
  • Apply instructional design principles, learning theories, and best practices to create learner-centric and outcome-oriented digital learning experiences.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate fitting digital or hybrid learning solutions across all areas of the organization.
  • Conduct training needs analysis, define learning objectives, and evaluate learning outcomes in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Learning Partners to advise on effective digital learning wraparounds.
  • Manage multiple digital learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in digital learning and technology.
  • Manage the learning & journeys module within Workday to ensure a suitable customer experience during use.
  • Generate, interpret, and present digital learning analytics to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all internal digital learning content is updated and current.

Requirements:

  • Experience in digital design and development.
  • Ability to use digital learning authoring tools and understanding their capabilities.
  • Previous experience with digital learning content using storyboards and various digital tools.
  • Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Creative and innovative with a passion for generating new ideas.
  • Good understanding of UX/UI design.
