Role Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will be unique and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaboration across engineering and other functional teams
  • Support effective customer management by interfacing with clients and suppliers on design matters and assisting with procurement specifications
  • Ensure that engineering and technical activities adhere to relevant procedures, codes, and standards.
  • Contribute to the Product Safety Assessment process
  • Serve as a technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct technical investigations and analyses to inform problem-solving and design enhancements
  • Drive process improvements within operational and design lifecycles to enhance quality, efficiency, and asset utilization
  • Utilize engineering expertise to develop technical solutions and documentation for assigned tasks and projects
This position is full-time, requiring 37 hours per week with hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in nuclear engineering is not mandatory; we welcome candidates from diverse engineering backgrounds.
  • A proactive individual who delivers results, champions high performance, and is willing to challenge conventional practices.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and general engineering drawing standards.
  • Strong ability to build influential relationships with key stakeholders.
Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
