We are pleased to present an opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Industrial Electrical Technician to join our skilled team, focusing on wastewater treatment facilities across the North East of Scotland.


This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities and collaborates with multiple departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and economically.

As an Industrial Electrical Technician, your duties will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all relevant equipment associated with wastewater facilities.

Report directly to the maintenance unit/engineering services supervisor regarding all maintenance operations

Executing maintenance tasks and schedules in line with manufacturer and contractual specifications.

Utilize field data gathered through the maintenance system to inform maintenance strategies and assist planners in making data-driven decisions based on the condition of existing assets.


Provide on-site assistance to the engineering department for operational and maintenance activities.

Support operations and maintenance teams as needed during significant outages and shutdowns.

Accurately input data into the computerized maintenance management system and maintain current asset information.

Possession of City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 or equivalent qualifications.

Demonstrated experience in a similar industrial setting.

Familiarity with wastewater and/or water treatment processes is a plus.

Experience working in multi-discipline process environments with a proven history of success in an engineering context.


Practical knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications, along with experience in computerized maintenance management systems, is advantageous.
