Job Description

Job Title: Asset Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to join our team at Future Electronics. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Place daily purchase orders with suppliers using the Inventory Management System (IMS) to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels on top-selling devices.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure relevant paperwork and a customer credit line is in place prior to purchase of high-value/customer-specific products.
  • Order Management: Review and authorize customer order changes and cancellations, and review supplier purchase orders through IMS and action reschedules or cancellations as needed.
  • Dispute Resolution: Fix order price discrepancies with marketing/suppliers and address receiving discrepancies with EMEA Distribution Centre/Product Marketing.
  • Customer Service: Be the first point of contact on customer production line down resolution and work with sales, product marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in purchasing is preferable but not essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize, prioritize, and have a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to proactively identify areas where current processes are flawed and find ways to address them.
  • Adaptability: Ability to perform well under pressure and deliver to deadlines, and show flexibility and adapt to the needs and demands of different groups, situations, and markets.
