Autograph Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Coleford to fill a pivotal role in their Machine Shop operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate production orders to meet customer delivery requirements
- Release production orders and book in completed work
- Issue plans to the shop floor, outlining forward load and required dates
- Plan maintenance activities and facilitate make-or-subcontract discussions
- Manage sub-contract order placement and report KPI performance metrics monthly
- Communicate accurate planning information to internal customers and drive plan achievement
- Assist in identifying and justifying improvement projects
Requirements:
- Engineering background in manufacturing, including CNC machining
- Experience reviewing KPIs and raising purchase requisitions
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
