Key Responsibilities
  • To manage the letting, management, and customer service team for the property portfolio, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.
  • To oversee the financial and operational performance of the portfolio, achieving or exceeding planned rent income and expenditure targets and budgets.
  • To manage the transition and integration of new acquisitions into the business, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • To maintain the appearance and presentation of our properties to the highest standards, ensuring they meet our brand's expectations.
  • To develop, manage, and motivate our ambassador and agent network to achieve letting and financial objectives.
  • To ensure compliance with statutory, industry code, and best practice requirements, maintaining a strong focus on regulatory compliance.
  • To strengthen adherence to existing operational processes and standards, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • To organize and manage the annual tenant handover process planning and delivery, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties involved.
  • To support the implementation and embedding of planned new digital business processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • To lead performance improvement projects and initiatives, working closely with team members to drive results.
  • To address and resolve escalated issues and complaints in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • To research, monitor, and report on market activity in existing and target cities, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong budget management credentials and accountability, with experience in managing financial performance and achieving targets.
  • Advanced communication and institutional quality reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Committed to providing an excellent level of customer service from initial contact through to tenancy end, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers.
  • Able to manage multiple projects running concurrently, with experience in prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Manage team to enter consistently high-quality information in our management systems, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong HMO and/or purpose-built student housing sector experience, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Full UK driving license highly desirable, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
