Military Graduate Area Manager Role

At Thegradcafe, we're committed to providing opportunities for military graduates to transition into successful careers in operations management. As an Area Manager Graduate, you'll play a key role in leading a team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality and productivity levels
  • Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture
  • Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes
About the Role:

This role is perfect for military graduates looking to apply their skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure that our customers receive their products quickly and efficiently.

As an Area Manager Graduate, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, including:

  • Customer Fulfilment (CF) team: managing dynamic inventory and facilitating speedy deliveries
  • Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team: analysing data and using expertise to get packages to their destination quickly and sustainably
  • Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team: handling 'last mile' delivery duties and utilising creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English
  • Relevant experience in performing data analysis
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
