Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager Graduate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure our business operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve business objectives and ensure high-quality performance.
- Analyse and Implement Corrective Actions: You will analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are at consistently high levels.
- Support and Lead a Team: You will support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build and support a strong team culture.
- Analyse Performance and Suggest Process Improvements: You will analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service.
- Collaborate with Other Managers: You will collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes and ensure seamless operations.
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your days will include prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks, alongside other tasks like individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
Working with Our TeamsYou could be placed within one of our teams, including:
- The Customer Fulfilment (CF) Team: You will work with the CF team to manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock.
- The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) Team: You will work with the ATS team to use air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, to get packages to their destination quickly, conveniently, and sustainably.
- Amazon Logistics (AMZL): You will work with the AMZL team to handle 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses.
- Bachelor's Degree: You must have a Bachelor's degree (or be working towards one) in a relevant field.
- Advanced Proficiency in English: You must have advanced proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Relevant Experience: You must have relevant experience in performing data analysis and working in a logistical environment.
- Experience Communicating with Stakeholders: You must have experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Experience in Logistics: You must have experience working in a logistical environment.
- MS Office Suite: You must have experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
