About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools in Portsmouth. You will supervise pre-assigned lessons, manage classroom behavior, and maintain a productive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on students' education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Establish strong relationships with students, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging active participation.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies, aligning with school policies and promoting positive behavior.
- Be flexible and adaptable, covering various subjects across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Ensure students remain focused and engaged, completing assigned work to the best of their ability.
Requirements:
- Hold a UK-recognized degree or have relevant experience in a similar role.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Possess a valid enhanced DBS check (preferably issued within the last year or on the update service). If you don't have a DBS, we can assist with the application process.
- Be local to, or willing to travel to, Portsmouth.
