Opportunity for Experienced Cover Supervisors

Academics Ltd is seeking dedicated and skilled Cover Supervisors to work in various secondary schools across Portsmouth. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and build your confidence in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Work in various secondary schools across Portsmouth, covering classes across the curriculum in both key stage 3 and 4.
  • Be available at least three days per week and willing to travel to different schools within the local area.
  • Have a degree and/or relevant experience of working in a school setting.
  • Have recent experience of teaching or supporting in a classroom in the UK.
  • Be able to show good behaviour and classroom management skills.

Requirements:

  • Portsmouth based or happy to travel across Portsmouth for work.
  • Available to work at least three days per week.
