YOUR ROLE

This position is a specialized role within the legal department, concentrating on the firm's distinct account operations within Asset Management, and will be part of the Asset Management legal team. While familiarity with the asset management sector and its client services is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. Responsibilities include participating as a member of the Asset Management legal team, engaging in the negotiation of investment management and advisory contracts and associated documentation. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in contract negotiation.

Additionally, given the broader Asset Management landscape, a significant aspect of this role will involve addressing various legal matters that arise, particularly in relation to the ongoing expansion of the firm's international operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a financial services organization or a law firm. Proficiency in contract negotiation and project management, with a preference for experience in investment management agreement negotiations. Understanding of the asset management industry, particularly regarding separate account services for clients in the EMEA region. Familiarity with funds and trading is beneficial but not mandatory. Knowledge of relevant regulations or a willingness to learn about applicable regulations. A collaborative team player with a genuine interest in asset management, capable of being proactive in a demanding business environment while adhering to company policies and practices. Approachable and confident, with the ability to engage effectively with business teams and take responsibility for fostering key business relationships, as well as supporting legal colleagues in global offices.
