We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Sales Trainee to join our team at BMS Performance. As a Graduate Sales Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your sales skills and knowledge of the industry, while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and understand the company's products, services, and market
- Develop relationships with customers and suppliers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Chase down leads, influence, negotiate, and generate sales
During your first 6 months, you will:
- Learn a lot about the industry and the company's products
- Work in a branch, learning about the products, operating procedures, and understanding the market, customers, and suppliers
- Develop the skills needed for long-term success, including sales, customer service, and communication
- Begin selling, calling lapsed/dormant accounts, and self-sourcing new accounts
- Start your industry-leading sales training program through BMS Performance
During your next 6-12 months, you will:
- Consistently start bringing in sales and revenue
- Learn and understand the full sales process
- Develop a relationship with more senior sales colleagues to gain an understanding of the potential next step in your career
- Continue to develop and grow in confidence and ability with BMS Performance's sales training
During your next 12 months and onwards, you will:
- Move out of the Graduate Sales Trainee role
- Work towards sales targets
- Become an essential part of the external sales team out in the field
- Further career development opportunities into management exist for those who can demonstrate success and ability to develop long-lasting customer relationships
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can also work well on their own initiative
- This role requires you to work an occasional Saturday morning as the business trades 6 days a week
- You have finished studying and are ready for an immediate start
- £27,500-£29,500 base salary (dependent on location)
- Eligibility for lucrative company profit share scheme
- Incentivized learning (bonus opportunity upon completion of training)
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Extensive professional sales training - fully funded and accredited
- Auto-enrolment into the Company's contributory pension scheme
