About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team at STRABAG UK Ltd. as a Mechanical and Electrical Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Site Team: Oversee a site team, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop Project Plans: Develop design, construction methodology, and cost estimates for project delivery.
  • Manage Site Performance: Manage and mentor the site team to optimize their performance.
  • Contract Management: Review contracts, develop site-specific schedules and budgets, and monitor progress.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance and manage subcontractor accounts.
  • Communication: Communicate non-conformances and client instructions to relevant teams.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate site documentation and ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in managing MEP systems from design to handover.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Electrical, Fire, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of construction techniques and NEC contracts.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS.
