About the Role

We are seeking a skilled R&D Validation Engineer to join our Fluids Business Unit at All The Top Bananas. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ANSYS CFD software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, application, regression, and performance testing in manual and/or automated test environments.
  • Investigate possible causes of problems and create test plans.
  • Participate in defect management and testing metrics.
  • Apply standard techniques and procedures and comply with the company's overall development and testing processes.
  • Work in a variety of computing environments, including Windows and Linux operating systems and high-performance computing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree with no experience.
  • Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience using CFD software to solve engineering problems.
  • Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment.
  • Strong computing skills, including experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and with both Linux and Windows platforms.
