Job Summary:

OBM People is seeking an experienced Marine Operations Coordinator/REWS Operator to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating marine operations and operating the Radar Early Warning System (REWS) to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate marine operations to ensure compliance with company and client procedures.
  • Operate the REWS to monitor vessel movements and collision risk management.
  • Liaise with installation managers, emergency response representatives, and operational personnel to ensure effective communication.
  • Monitor nominated subsea installations and ensure adherence to protected points and boundaries.
  • Perform system checks and record equipment status to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of offshore MODU/platform & vessel operations, including UKCS supplements.
  • VHF Radio Operator Certificate.
  • Marine Certificate of Competency in a senior bridge role or significant marine control and co-ordination experience.
  • Current Driver's License.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • REWS Operator Certificate.

Working Arrangements:

This is a 2 weeks on/8 weeks off position, providing a great work-life balance.
