Job Title: Asset Financial Controller

The Asset Financial Controller will be responsible for leading the Industrial Finance function for Vermont and Simcoe Manufacturing, driving financial performance, and implementing cost improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in business partnering, financial analysis, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Industrial Finance function, developing and executing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to drive financial performance, identify areas for cost improvement, and implement process automation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Provide financial expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, driving business outcomes and improving financial performance.
  • Lead and monitor cost controlling activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, driving performance improvements and sharing best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred with 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Business partnering experience with a strong focus on financial analysis and guidance.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain Finance strongly preferred; SAP experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; Microsoft Office proficiency a must.
