Oncology Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sciensus Pharma Services Limited. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support to individuals receiving oncology therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on safe medication administration, including oncology medications and IV therapies.
- Deliver on-going support to patients through a combination of telephone, clinic-based, and home visits, as per product and client protocols.
- Assess patients' home environments to ensure they are safe and suitable for home IV oncology treatment.
- Administer all IV oncology medications for patients undergoing IV cancer treatment.
- Monitor patients' blood results and make decisions on whether critical levels are within safe parameters to continue with treatment.
- Collaborate with referring consultants on any concerns around treatment or if patients are too unwell to receive medication.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Part 1 NMC Register.
- Qualification in administering Cytotoxic drugs.
- Cannulation and clinical assessment skills.
- Experience in administering oncology medication, either in hospital or community environment.
- Strong understanding of therapies relevant to our service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.
