Job Description

Job Title: Senior Facility Specialist

Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

Salary: £47,180 (Negotiable dependent on relevant experience / qualifications)

Job Summary:

The Senior Facility Specialist role covers our facility management responsibilities and requirements across our highly regulated estates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a workplace environment that is safe, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Manage, support, and maintain a designated portfolio of facilities, ensuring maximum facility availability every day.
  • Act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners, ensuring all safety and compliance aspects are delivered in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • IOSH certification (minimum) or NEBOSH (or recognised equivalent Health and Safety qualification).
  • IWFM professional membership (or recognised equivalent professional body).
  • Prior facility, health and safety, and relevant management experience.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and identify problems, evaluate options, and formulate effective solutions.
  • Decision-making skills with high complexity or diversity and prime responsibility.
  • Excellent communication, presentational, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in/with project teams to ensure delivery of modifications to facilities/plant.

Security Clearance: All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
