The Opportunity

CV Library is working with a leading telecommunications company to find a skilled Core Systems Network Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that is growing rapidly and is looking for someone to take a DevOps-first approach to deployments and continuous improvement works. The successful candidate will be involved in the software and hardware lifecycles for Core Network managed devices, including vulnerability management and patching.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Configure and manage core network equipment
  2. Work on a range of network types, including FTTP, Fixed Wireless, and Mobile
  3. Assist the Core Systems Manager/Network Manager as required
  4. Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible and APIs to integrate network services
  5. Write and maintain programming and scripting code in Python, Bash, and PHP
  6. Juniper experience or certification to JNCIP-SP or Cisco (CCNP) equivalent level
  7. MPLS, LDP/RSVP/SR experience
  8. CoS/QoS implementation knowledge
  9. BGP/ISIS/OSPF experience
  10. Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment, including HP/Aruba, Dell, and Fortinet
