**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ownership of the design process for responsible components within closure systems, leading the way in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) practices to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
  • Driving force behind closure system design and attribute delivery, collaborating closely with Principal Engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Responsible for Design for Manufacture and Assembly for responsible components.
  • Prepare full project documents.
  • Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full vehicle body systems: Closures, Panels, Glazing, Sealing.
  • Ensure responsible designs meet legal compliance.
  • Guide other CAD engineers in design standards and engineering practices.

  • Automotive experience is essential.
