We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development of the pharmacy workforce in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in our region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive pharmacy workforce strategy for South Yorkshire, aligned with the Integrated Care System (ICS) priorities.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the health and social care system to identify and address workforce gaps and challenges.
- Lead the development of training and education programs to support the growth and development of the pharmacy workforce.
- Collaborate with local schools and colleges to develop apprenticeships and similar training opportunities.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders on workforce planning and development.
- Significant experience of working in complex systems and leading workforce transformation initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of health and social care workforce planning, education, and training.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the health and social care system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop meaningful insights.
