Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Digital Product Owner to join our Digital Development Team at SmartSourcing Ltd.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the product aligns with business objectives, meets customer needs, and delivers value to the organisation.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Ensuring that the product roadmap aligns with the delivery project's goals and timelines.
  • Developing comprehensive documentation that outline tasks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Utilising tools like Jira to create and manage tasks, track progress, and facilitate agile methodologies.
  • Providing regular updates on project status, key metrics, and risks to stakeholders.

The successful candidate's responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Prioritisation: Determining the order in which features and functionalities will be implemented based on business value, technical feasibility, and user needs.
  • Backlog Management: Maintaining and grooming a prioritised backlog of product requirements.
  • Feature Definition: Writing clear, concise, and well-defined user stories that capture the desired functionality, acceptance criteria, and value proposition.
  • Product Launch: Overseeing the launch of new product features or releases.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gathering user feedback, analysing product metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Using data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure the impact of product features and changes.
  • Agile Methodology: Understanding and applying agile principles and practices to facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the travel and tourism sector, Scrum master experience, Product Owner qualification, experience delivering a digital transformation, knowledge of digital marketing, experience of using Jira, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can travel to site when necessary.
