About the Role

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the Old Age Psychiatry Liaison team in Bridgend County Borough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership to the multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to educational provision for trainee medical staff and undergraduate medical students
  • Lead the Old Age Psychiatry Liaison team inputting into the Princess of Wales Hospital and Maesteg Community Hospital
  • Deliver mental health services for older adults in residential and nursing care facilities
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration
  • MRCPsych or equivalent
  • On Specialist Register for Old Age Psychiatry or within six months of the anticipated CCT/CESR date
  • Approved Clinician approval or in a position to achieve it
