About the Role
The Rhodes Trust Careers is seeking an experienced Events and Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of events, as well as providing administrative support to our programme teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events, including logistics, catering, and audio-visual requirements
- Manage event budgets and ensure financial compliance
- Provide administrative support to programme teams, including data entry, reporting, and correspondence
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in events management and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
