About the Role

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Community Nurse to join our Additional Support for Learning (ASL) Nursing team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to children and young adults in schools and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to the nursing team, including direct patient care and associated administrative duties.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to promote seamless, equitable, and accessible care to patients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid PIN and NMC UK registration.
  • Experience working in community nursing, preferably in a school or education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
