Job Title: Stock and Warehouse Operations Supervisor
The Recruitment Link Ltd is looking for a skilled Stock and Warehouse Operations Supervisor to enhance our client's team. This role involves reporting to the Operations Manager and entails managing various elements of inventory handling, storage, and distribution.
- Assist the Operations Planner in overseeing inventory control and material restocking
- Work closely with Production and Logistics departments
- Contribute to the achievement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) objectives
- Ensure safe storage practices and material handling
- Recognize and address training requirements for the warehouse team
- Act as a primary user for SAP and labeling systems
- Manage the disposal of hazardous materials
- Enhance safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Conduct investigations into incidents and enforce corrective measures
- Ensure the safe operation of Forklift Trucks (FLTs) and coordinate with service providers
- Develop and uphold standard operating procedures and risk assessments
Qualifications / Experience:
- Familiarity with regulations regarding dangerous goods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in Root Cause Analysis
- Knowledge or experience in quality management
- NEBOSH certification
- IMDG/IATA certification
- Proficient in business systems and software applications
Working Hours / Salary:
- Standard working hours from 8:45 AM to 5 PM with a 45-minute unpaid break
- Generous holiday allowance of 33 days including public holidays
- Attractive salary package up to £35,000 based on experience
