We are seeking an experienced Assistant Product Manager to join our Mortgages Supplier Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with multiple third-party suppliers across Mortgages, ensuring that our supplier relationships are managed in accordance with our risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day relationships between Nationwide and our suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, procurement, and other business areas.
- Support audit and control testing activities, ensuring compliance with Nationwide's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Framework.
- Track spend against annual plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with Procurement and other business areas to onboard new suppliers and amend existing contracts.
- Conduct regular reviews of contract service performance through Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide support to junior members of the team, coaching and mentoring to ensure their success.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Product Manager who can demonstrate:
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships, with a strong understanding of SRM frameworks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
