Job Description

Main Objective:

Asta Capital Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the Head of Sustainability in the execution of the Sustainability Framework across the organization and its clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Assist in the development and implementation of the Sustainability Framework, providing technical expertise and support in various areas of the business and clients.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders within Asta Capital Limited and its clients to promote and develop the Framework, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  3. Monitor industry trends, emerging risks, and opportunities in the sustainability area, providing timely updates and recommendations to the Head of Sustainability.
  4. Support the reporting of sustainability risk and performance indicators across Asta Capital Limited and its clients, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data.
  5. Coordinate projects to meet regulatory compliance, engaging with key stakeholders and ensuring effective governance and administration of corresponding sustainability activities.
  6. Assist in the preparation of papers and analysis for internal committee meetings and meetings with external bodies, providing high-quality research and insights.
  7. Provide administrative support to the Sustainability Working Group, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  8. Support the monitoring of emerging risks and provide analysis to the AMA Risk Committee, AMA Board, and Syndicate Boards, as required.


Required Skills and Experience:


  1. Strong interest in sustainability and environmental issues, with a solid understanding of the insurance industry and its sustainability challenges.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide high-quality research and insights.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
