This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of the adult sensory service, focusing on individuals who are d/Deaf or deaf-blind. Our mission is to provide personalized assistance that respects each person's communication preferences, including the use of British Sign Language (BSL). We aim to empower those affected by hearing loss or dual sensory impairment to achieve greater independence.

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations such as Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act Assessments, applications to the Court of Protection, and inquiries related to safeguarding.
  • Establish meaningful connections with clients, their families, and caregivers, while actively engaging with local communities to enhance support networks.

Candidate Profile
