Job Description

Job Title: Experienced Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced game designer to join our team at Playground Games. As a key member of our Forza Horizon team, you will be responsible for designing and building large sections of our game worlds, creating genre-leading event designs, and implementing key gameplay features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build large sections of our game worlds
  • Create genre-leading event designs
  • Implement key gameplay features
  • Drive best practice and collaborate with technical and creative teams
  • Consistently push for quality and react to change positively
  • Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:

  • At least one shipped title in a level design role
  • Experience with multiple software packages such as 3DS Max, Mudbox, and Photoshop (or equivalents)
  • Ability to create a whitebox environment and develop it through to shippable quality
  • Ideally, experience in building AAA open-world environments
  • A genuine passion for games
