Job Summary:
Destination Education is seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team. As a Primary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in Year 1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons in accordance with the curriculum, ensuring the academic progress of all students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and values diversity.
- Assess student learning through various formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents/guardians, and the wider school community through effective communication and involvement in school events and activities.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Hold a QTS certificate (or the PGCE equivalent).
- Experience teaching primary school students, preferably in KS1.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and create a supportive learning environment.
