Contract Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Omega Leeds. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans
- Work closely with production staff to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production levels
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
