We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Nurse or Adult Nurse with paediatric experience to join our paediatric nursing team at the Amazon Children's Ward and Jungle Assessment Unit located at Peterborough City Hospital.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing high-quality care to children and young people. As a Children's Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, high-quality paediatric medical and surgical care to our patients within the Amazon ward & Jungle Assessment Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-quality paediatric medical and surgical care to patients within the Amazon ward & Jungle Assessment Unit.
- Use knowledge and resources effectively and responsibly to enhance the service and actively engage in the development of the service.
- Rotate through other units to facilitate patient care and undertake a rotation to Hinchingbrooke Hospital's Children Wards for a maximum of three months per year.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- RSCN or RN Child Branch Registration.
- Experience within speciality/acute care area.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Uses evidence-based practice to support patient care delivery.
- Evidence of being a Reflective Practitioner.
