Finance Manager - Global Consumer Goods Business

Role Overview:

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in leading the finance team and implementing the business finance strategy. This will involve ensuring highly effective finance processes, controls, and reporting procedures, driving efficiency and excellence in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team and implement the business finance strategy
  • Manage corporate accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting
  • Oversee bookkeeping activities and establish best-in-class month-end processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Maintain balance sheet to a high level of detail
  • Prepare year-end Financial Accounts and liaise with Auditors
  • Implement and maintain robust internal control systems
  • Support in the preparation of annual budgets and business forecasts
  • Liaise with 3rd parties, including accountants, auditors, banks, lenders, tax advisers, and investors

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional
  • Previous experience in Food/Retail/FMCG desirable
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to tell a story and go beyond the analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting
  • Experience in preparing both statutory and management accounts, and experience of consolidation for a multi-entity business
