About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lettings Advisor to join our team at Longhurst Group. As a key member of our Lettings team, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers to finalise their tenancy agreements and allocating properties to our future customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-tenancy interviews for customers who have been provisionally allocated to one of our homes.
  • Process succession, assignment, and mutual exchange applications in line with policies and procedures.
  • Manage and comply with all timescales to minimise the time taken to re-let our homes and reduce void costs.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as Local Authority Lettings and Nominations Schemes to re-advertise and allocate our empty homes.
  • Hold potentially difficult conversations with our customers in line with our lettings policy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent knowledge of IT applications, some understanding of social housing, and be organised with the ability to prioritise workload and work with internal and external partners to deliver an efficient letting service.
