Job Title: Baby Room Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Baby Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Richmond Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

As a Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our youngest children. You will ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities, and develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety and safeguarding
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
