About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at LeviCare Limited. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Optimal Care: Deliver exceptional care and support to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  2. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Patient Interaction: Build strong relationships with patients, understanding their preferences and needs to deliver personalized care.
  4. Medication and Treatment: Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  5. Condition Monitoring: Regularly monitor patients' conditions, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Behavioral Support: Provide support and guidance to patients experiencing behavioral issues, ensuring a safe and protective environment.
  7. Record Management: Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring easy access to information.
  8. Therapy Sessions: Host group or one-on-one therapy sessions to support patients' mental health and well-being.
  9. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing updates on treatment progress, diagnoses, and recovery plans.
  10. Collaboration: Work closely with medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  1. NMC Registration: Hold a valid NMC pin registration with no outstanding matters pending.
  2. Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an NHS setting post-registration.
  3. Right to Work: Have the right to work and live in the UK.
  4. DBS: Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (support provided if not registered on the update service).
Qualifications
  1. Nursing Degree: Possess a nursing degree from a recognized institution.
Skills
  1. Observational Skills: Demonstrate excellent observational skills to assess patients, administer medication, and identify triggers of risk behaviors.
  2. Communication Skills: Possess good verbal and non-verbal communication skills to support individuals with varying levels of understanding.
  3. Organizational Skills: Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills to effectively update patient records.
  4. Psychological Knowledge: Possess good psychological, medical, and legal knowledge to respond appropriately to patients during a mental health crisis.
  5. Physical Fitness: Be physically fit to perform the demands of the role.
  6. Calm and Quick Thinking: Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and think quickly in challenging circumstances.
Working Hours
  1. Shift Patterns: Work a variety of shift patterns, including 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, day shifts, and night shifts.
